Training
In addition to weight loss and muscle building, our trainers can help
with functional strength, general health & fitness, and cardiovascular
conditioning . They also have specialties in other areas of fitness. Our
trainers will design a program specifically tailored to your needs to
help you get the most out of your program.
Initially the trainer will gather information about the client including
physical assessments (body fat, weight, measurements, strength and cardio
tests), long and short term goals and your health history. Armed with
this information, the trainer will design a safe and effective program,
constantly monitoring your progress to produce the greatest results in
the shortest time possible. |
Yoga
Yoga utilizes stretching, posture, breathing and meditation techniques
to help improve various body conditions. Among them include an increase
in muscle flexibility, strength and stamina. It can also reduce stress
and tension among its many other benefits. Yoga is effective whether your
goal is to reduce stress, increase concentration or help cope with a physical
ailment. |
Flexibility
Most people, especially the most sedentary, need flexibility work. Regular
flexiblity training will help to improve posture and blood circulation
throughout the body. In addition, flexiblity training can help to prevent
injury and reduce pain. Our flexibility specialists are certified in Integrated
Flexibility and will be able to assess your condition and develop a quality
flexibility program to meet your needs. |
Pilates
A cross between Yoga and Weight training, Pilates coordinates
mind and body to develop and strengthen the core muscles. Our instructors
are fully certified and experienced with mat based pilates. |
Fitness
Assessment
This is a 45-minute fitness assessment with a trainer. This comprehensive
assessment covers body fat, girth measurements, nutrition assessment,
strength tests, flexibility tests and a cardiovascular test. This is a
great, objective, tool for anyone to see where they currently stand and
to monitor the effectiveness of their program. The fitness assessment
is included with a purchase of a 10 or 20 package of sessions. |
